PARENT'S ROLE AS PARTNERS IN EDUCATION

At School it is believe that parents play an important role in developing the child.
An active interest taken by parents in their child's development go a long way in shaping his/her future.
Parents should take a note of the following :

1. Play games with their child using dictionary, atlas and also games like hangman, word power. These games increase their knowledge and vocabulary and makes learning fun.
2. Check child's diary for notes and acknowledge the same. See that all school exercise books are covered and labeled properly.
3. See that your child has a pencil box consisting of an eraser, scale, pen/pencils and a sharpener.
4. Be a reading partner and encourage your child to read encyclopedias & article of interest. Encourage him/her to make friends with a new book every month.
5. During the oncoming vacations take your child to some places of interest like museums, monuments, places of historical importance or a green house. Help him/her to know the world around him/her.
6. Work together with your child in preparing him/her for show and tell competitions or any other occasions.
7. A neat and ironed uniform along with polished shoes adds sparkle to the child's personality. Overgrown nails and hair must be cut short and kept clean. A handkerchief and napkin should be send daily. Short hairs for girls must be pulled back with prescibed band.
8. Parents should send a nutitious and healthy fook in tiffin and a proper amount of water bottle.
9. ID cards must be worn daily.
